Unplug UMC, driver uninstall, reboot, driver install, reboot, plug UMC back in Unplug UMC, driver uninstall, reboot, driver install, plug UMC back in Then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver multiple times (none of these worked):ĭriver uninstall, driver install, no reboot in between, UMC always connectedĭriver uninstall, unplug UMC, driver install, plug UMC back in, no reboot in between

UMC Control Panel says "No devices connected" and no sign of any Behringer / UMC device in the device manager at all (also not under hidden devices).įirst I thought maybe it's a conflict with the new usb card, so I removed that one.

Unplugged everything from PC, because I added another USB card to it, then after I replugged everything, the UMC simply wasn't there anymore. I had the exact same problem, same audio interface, UMC 404HD. Everything was working *flawlessly* before I moved the computer. Interface not showing in Device Managerĭevice lets out sounds when I plug my speakers into it, but audio will not go from my computer to the speakers through it.Returning to old windows states and safe mode.Different USB and power supply cables. When I plug the USB, power goes into the interface, but my computer will not recognize the device. Uninstalling all drivers, UMC and Asio4all, restarting the computer, installing them back again and then plugging the interface. In the UMC Control Panel it states "No devices connected".

I disconnected everything and put it back together, but the interface will not work anymore. I have a Behringer UMC404HD audio interface, which was working completely perfectly, until I had to move my computer to another room. I usually stray from making such posts, because I always manage to find an answer already somewhere online, but I have been going at this for a while, a really long while now, and I just can't seem to make it work.
